The 805 Social Club
Katie was born and raised in the san Fernando Valley. From a young age, she began singing in local churches and schools. With years of experience and private lessons, Katie attended Cal State Northridge where she received a bachelors in Music Industry Studies with an emphasis in voice. Throughout college she began performing in various bands and working as a vocal consultant for an independent entertainment company. After a car accident left her unable to sing, she took a brief hiatus, but is now back at it and stronger than ever. She is so excited to be back on stage performing!
Todd (TJ) Nilsen
TJ was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. Yes, "that" Jersey Shore. Guitar was never a hobby for him, it was a calling! He jumped into the cover scene right out of college, playing up and down the Jersey Coast in bar and club bands, having also done live sound for various local bands and venues as well. TJ joined The 805 Social Club as a guitarist/vocalist and hasn’t looked back since. Every once in a while he goes full Jersey and you’ll hear the accent!
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Erik began playing keyboards and guitar in bar bands in Worcester in high school. As the saying goes, if you can make it in Worcester, you can make it anywhere. Or something like that. Many years, bands and wrong notes later, Erik headed west and found a home in The 805 Social Club.
Born and raised in Southern California, Michael began his low-end journey in middle school with the bari sax & then to bass after high school. Playing in various local cover and original bands, Michael’s reputation made him "the guy" to call for recording and fill in dates. Some even called back! And, yes, his hair is real!
Jim has been playing drums and singing since the age of five and has been in original and cover bands his entire life. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jim was part of a robust live original music scene there in the late 80’s and early 90’s and was the guy who would get the call for recording sessions for friends who needed a reliable player. After moving to Southern California at the end of 2012, Jim has been making himself known here and is excited to be laying down the grooves for The 805 Social Club.
